About Chessie Creek Farm

Originally established in 2012, Chessie Creek Farm (CCF) served as joint research project between CCF and several universities to study the use of Holstein/Gyr cattle.

In 2022, CCF transitioned from Holstein/Gyr cattle to Angus cattle. In the spring of 2023 with the purchase of our herd sire 44 Bright Lights 1851 and a group of 100 ET pregnancies form 44 Farms, CCF formed a strategic alliance with 44 Farms as well their Prime Pursuits program. Not only is CCF committed to creating an angus herd with high quality genetics, but is also dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint through our ongoing timber operation and the coming addition of utilizing solar energy for our power needs.

We have our annual bull sale the second Saturday in October and our Commercial bred heifer sale the second Saturday in May. In the spring of 2025 we will add our first Female Production Sale. However, if you are visiting this historical part of the country or call this beautiful area your home, we encourage you to spend some of your time visiting CCF and getting the chance to see our cattle. We are 1 hour west of Charleston and a 1 ½ hours northeast Hilton Head.
